Originally from London, Yety is a Freelance Stylist, Fashion Editor and Brand Consultant with West African roots. She moved to New York City in 2013 after stints at British GQ and MR PORTER; beginning her career in the U.S at Cosmopolitan magazine as a Fashion Assistant. Soon after she began assisting legendary Stylists such as Paul Cavaco, Darcy Backlar, Anastasia Barbieri, Laura Ferrera, Roxane Danset and Leith Clark; while working with the Kanye West Styling team.
During her time in New York she has worked with publications such as Vogue Paris, American Vogue, Purple, Paper, V, i-D, W, Details, The Wall Street Journal, Teen Vogue, IO DONNA and Vogue Hommes International, to name a few. Collaborating with photographers including David Bailey, Mario Testino, Alexi Lubomirski, Boo George, Josh Olins and Sebastian Faena. While contributing to various television and commercial projects, as well as advertising campaigns for brands such as Michael Kors, Uniqlo, Gap, Rolex, Cole Haan, Aldo, Pepsi, Nine West, Estée Lauder, T.J. Max, Alterna Haircare, Dove, Swarovski and Tiffany & Co.
Yety is currently based between New York City, Los Angeles and London.
